Crawling

Zoe has decided that her parents are too slow as a transport vehicle, so she has taken things into her own hands (and feet, literally) and started crawling. Below a video of how she is doing. We are still stunned how fast she progresses. She started only this weekend and by today she is exploring already the whole house. This also means that Nene and I frantically moving things out of her way and above her reach. It appears that soon our whole furniture will be attached to the ceiling

Ah….we FINALLY managed to convert our videos for uploading! So here you’ll see Zoe’s first experience in a swing. Michi and I were a bit worried whether she would cry or not, but…she loved it!

And we love doing the videos, so we’ll be uploading a few more soon

It’s been a while since we posted something. It feels like ages, I guess it’s the sleep deprivation

We’ve been through two colds, and many interrupted nights. Things are getting better and Papa and mamae are dreaming of a good night sleep!

… fits best as a title to this entry. The staff at the childcare are very keen on getting children as early as possible involved in drawing/collages etc.  Below therefore the first “paintings” and one collage (“Pink rectangles VI” – hahaha) of our little one. Well, what shall we say she is truly an abstractionist already, engaging all her body parts in the composition of her works – note the imprint of her hand and her forehead (!!!) on one of the masterworks

No wonder she comes sometimes exhausted in the evening home with some green or blue colour still in her ear or hair…
